Hi, I'm Coach Peter.

I've been coaching tennis for 48 years, most recently as Head Pro at the Côte Saint-Luc Tennis Club, where I ran the junior program and taught everyone from four-year-olds holding a racquet for the first time to adults chasing their first real backhand. These days most of my week is spent with kids in Côte Saint-Luc, in community classes and now in school gyms.

I still play, too. In 2022 I represented Canada on the Maccabi Canada Masters tennis team at the 21st Maccabiah Games in Israel.

My coaching philosophy is simple: fun first, fundamentals always. Kids learn fastest when they're laughing, moving and actually hitting balls, so every class is built around games and rallies, with proper technique taught along the way. Every kid should leave feeling like they won something.

The school program matters to me because most kids never get the chance to pick up a racquet. A gym, a few mini nets and a bag of red balls changes that. If you're a principal, a coordinator or a parent on a committee, I'd love to show you how it works.
